Torrie Wilson, who is among the most skilled wrestlers in history, emerged from the vast and expansive farms of Boise. Wilson, a budding fitness-model in the 1990s who was joined by her boyfriend to the backstage area of WCW when they visited. Scott Steiner invited her to join him in the ring. She was a part of the business for more than 10 years. While competing occasionally with WCW, Wilson was also the manager for competitors like David Flair, Billy Kidman, The Filthy Animals, and Shane Douglas. Wilson was hired by WWE as soon as the company bought WCW beginning in the spring of 2001. Her athleticism and penchant for entertainment meant she was a perfect match to WWE at the time of one of the entertainment industry's biggest eras. Wilson's friendship with Stacy Keibler who was her biggest adversary and sometimes friend was a key participant in the invasion of WCW by WWE. Wilson joined WCW's WWE women's division shortly after the WCW invasion. She was a rival to Keibler Sable Melina. Wilson stood up for her family against Dawn Marie.
